Install Kontendor on Your Device

You can install this app on most computers and mobile devices for a faster experience.

Desktop

Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, and other Chromium-based browsers

  1. 1Open Kontendor.com in your browser.
  2. 2If you see an Install icon in the address bar, click it and select Install.
  3. 3If you don't see the icon, open the browser menu (⋮ or ☰) and look for Install app or Install Kontendor.
  4. 4Confirm the installation.

The app will open in its own window and can be launched from your desktop or applications list.

If the icon doesn't stay pinned: on some computers the browser only adds Kontendor to your Dock/taskbar for the current session, so it disappears the next time you restart. The app itself is still installed. You just need to find it and pin it yourself:

On Mac

Open Finder > Go > Applications, look for a "Chrome Apps" folder (or find Kontendor directly in Applications), then drag the Kontendor icon to your Dock to pin it permanently.

On Windows

Click the Start button and type "Kontendor". It'll show up as an installed app. Right-click it and choose Pin to Start or Pin to taskbar. You can also find it under Start > All apps.

Safari (macOS)

Requires macOS Sonoma or later.

  1. 1Open the app in Safari.
  2. 2From the menu bar, select File > Add to Dock. Alternatively, click the "Share" icon (square with an up arrow) and select the same option.
  3. 3Confirm to add the app.

The app will be available from your Dock as well as the Applications folder.

Firefox (Desktop)

For desktop computers, Firefox does not currently offer built-in app installation. In the meantime, you have two options if you primarily use Firefox:

  • Use another supported browser just for the installation. Then you can use the app as normal.
  • Note that Firefox currently offers experimental web app features for desktop, but these require additional setup and are not officially supported at this time.
